The "Six Pillars of Character" are values that help students in life's choices. The Six Pillars can improve the ethical quality of students' decisions, their character and lives!
Here is a review of the Six Pillars of Character:

Play by the rules without cheating. Be honest and sincere. Don't deceive or steal. Be reliable and do what you say you'll do. Be loyal and stand by your family, friends and country. Have the courage to do the right thing. Keep promises.

Follow the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have then do unto you. A respectful person is a attentive listener. Use good manners, not bad language. Be tolerant of differences. Be considerate of the feelings of others. Don't threaten, hit or hurt anyone. Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements.

Do what you are supposed to do. Never give up, keep trying! Always do your best. Be in charge of your own choices.  Do not blame others. Use self-control. Be self disciplined. Think before you act.

Take turns and share. Play by the rules. Listen to others. Seek the truth. Do not play favorites with people. Do not take advantage of others.

Be kind. Show that you care. Show compassion. Say thank you with a sincere and full heart. Forgive others. Help others in need.

Be a good neighbor. Do your share to make your school better. Cooperate. Obey laws and rules. Respect authority. Protect the environment. Good citizens give more than they take.
